I have worked with Rock's Moving for years and have referred countless clients to them. Over the years, Dylan made sure the scheduling was easy and that my clients were always happy. Well, I recently learned that Dylan is no longer with the company, the company is under new ownership, and let me just say it isn't good. I scheduled a move for a client for this Friday at 400 Central in Downtown St Pete. Before scheduling, I specifically asked if Rock's had the proper insurance required for the building. I was assured they did. I even specifically asked if they had recently moved in there, and was told they had. On Tuesday the building informed me that they needed the COI from the moving compay. I texted Rock's letting them know. They responded telling me that the building "had it on file". I responded letting them know that it has to be updated for each unit and provided all of the information needed. TWICE they texted back asking for information I had just provided in the text exchange (red flag). I then was informed yesterday at the end of the day (TWO days before the move) that they did not actually have the proper insurance and could not do the move. To avoid my client having to wait for another move-in date with the building (it has to be scheduled), I had to call around trying to find movers at the last minute. Something like this has never happened in the past. Had I not been proactive, we would have arrived to the building and not been able to actually move in. After multiple conversations with Rocks, they simply don't see where they went wrong and insist that their company has the same standards it always has. Folks, it may be the same name but it is NOT the same company.

These guys make it look easy. They perfectly balance being efficient with treating everything like it is their own, taking care to not damage anything. Our move was done in less than five hours with no damage to anything and all of our stuff was put exactly where we wanted it. We hope to not move again anytime soon, but if we do, we’re calling Rock’s.
These guys worked their butts off. They were so polite and kind. They were honestly like a well oiled machine. They packed my whole house and moved me in a few hours. I can’t say enough good things about this company. I will definitely use you again and so should everyone else. You will not be disappointed!!

Rocks Moving gave me some of the best service I've ever had by any company. I was stranded by the company who moved furniture from my parents' home in Pennsylvania to Florida. They abandoned some of it in the hallway of the storage facility from which I rented a unit. They said it wouldn't fit. It wouldn't "fit" because of the haphazard, slovenly way they packed it in the unit. I called Jeremy, the owner of Rocks Moving, around 5:00, quite deperate because I couldn't leave my possessions in the aisle - and who would think that a moving company would be able to come at 5:45 PM after receiving a call around 45 minutes earlier? Well, Jeremy DID send a team, which rescued my furniture and me at the last minute. Carlos and Ron arrived after doing another job, and despite it being 5:45 PM, they looked as energetic and cheerful as one might expect at the start of the work day. They were as friendly and kind as they could possibly be., as well as being positive and full of fun. And they were as professional, competent and efficient as movers could possibly be. They removed everything from the unit and repacked all of it in a methodical, logical manner. I watched in amazement because they were just so darned skilled compared to the sloppy, inefficient work of the first moving company. In a little over an hour they had repacked every single item in the unit, including the items that had been abandoned in the hallway. Not only that, there was room left over for more items, should it ever be needed. They were as careful and gentle with my belongings as one would expect of a family member, unlike the profoundly nasty foreman of the first company, who I watched drop my belongings, including family heirlooms, off his cart three times before abandoning everything. I will always be grateful for Jeremy, Carlos and Ron. When I move from my existing house to my new house, I will use Rocks Moving and will ask for Carlos and Ron. Needless to say, I would highly recommend this company and I would give them 10 stars if I could.

Can't beat them. I've used them so many times over the last 15 years (slowing down on the need for them these days), but they're quick, and get the job done right. They also do a great job of securing the furniture in the truck (and properly covering it). Use them!
