Nathan has done repair at our home before. We find him knowledgeable and courteous. The cost of repair was outrageous. THAT WAS NOT NATHAN'S FAULT. Should we need repair in the future we will likely try another appliance repair bc of the difference in repair cost. We originally called another repair service who told us it was related to the motor which was still under limited warranty. That was good advice and we will call that service again in the future because their hourly charge is about 45% less expensive. We have always had good service with Sears repair but at these prices, we will not call again.

Your service tech was very helpful in explaining the problems. Unfortunately for me, he described the need to replace various parts, while advising me that because this cooktop was very old, the necessary parts were not available through Sears.
