Excellent! From the first interaction with Barry to the end, the crew and gentleman, who actually climbed the 35' Lauren Oak to cut down each section. All provided exception service. I was informed of the whole process, each stage, the equipment, and finishing up. Did I mention the on-site team? They are a well-oiled machine. Nothing but professionalism from the first branch that came down to the cutting, removal of debris, raking and blowing off the roof. Courteous, knowledgeable, professionals! Thank you Branch Manager!

Our tree was hit by lightning ⚡ and it was a very traumatic experience. The electricity arced over to my neighbor's house. Multiple chucks of this 100+ yr old tree flew all over. Very Luckily, no one was hurt. That afternoon, my neighbor and I raced to get all of our pets in crates to be ready to go. This tree was covering our whole house. 1/3 of it was seriously compromised. We called the fire department to make sure the tree wasn't on fire. They came and assured us it was not. At the advice of a neighbor, I was told to call BIG BEN for an estimate. We were scared and called. They showed up with huge trucks the next morning early. It was unexpected. While they were all taking over our yard, I ran out and asked who was in charge. When I found him I asked, how much will this cost and what is your plan? He said it would be $20K and they were taking down the entire live oak for our safety. We were not okay with that. We had not signed a contract, we had not discussed the situation, and already his employees were getting into place. I told him that I did NOT have enough information to make a decision and they needed to go. He was NOT happy, but they left. Thankfully.
I did not have $20K to take this 100+ yo tree down, nor did we want to! It was part of the reason we chose this house! We wanted a tree big enough to support a swing! It was the only tree.
After 6 months, our family pushed us to take care of it.
That is when I decided to reach out to The Branch Manager.
Mark came and listened to the whole story, he took the time to understand how much this tree meant to us and that the kids wanted a swing. I had purchased a secure band to put on the huge branch going over our front yard.
As a certified Arborist, with all of the insurance to make sure that everyone and everything would be safe, I decided to trust him to take care of our favorite tree.
When his crew arrived, they were prepared. When I say that, I mean, they had all of the things. They showed up and we watched it all from across the street.
It was like watching a ballet. Everyone who came on to the property knew what they were doing. They were all very confident with the plan. They executed their mission with fine precision.
It was amazing to see these gigantic branches from a 100-year-old tree slowly be lowered down into the side of our yard and then taken away.
When we got towards the end of the project, they remembered that the one ask from the kids was that they had a swing. They took the professional swing apparatus that I had purchased and use their machinery to put it all the way up in that top Branch safely so that my kids could have an awesome swing. This amazing tree that has been in our community for over 100 years. Within 24 hours. The entire situation was remedied and made even better with hanging the swing.
Everyone in the crew were respectful and responsible and amazing and when they left we felt like not only had it not have ever happened, But we also had a swing in our tree that I knew that was safe for my kids to swing on.
In the years since this happened, I can honestly tell you that that swing is so safe that multiple mail carriers, ups drivers, FedEx drivers, Amazon drivers have all gotten in that swing and had a fantastic time.
I cannot thank this company enough for their empathy, professionalism, cleanliness and price point.
Moving forward, there is no other company that I would ever trust to take care of my trees.

We take pride in doing the job the right way, treating our customers and their property with respect, and caring for the long-term health of the trees we work on. Their crew was doing some work for my next door neighbor. I asked the owner to give me a quote to remove a broken oak limb that was hanging in an adjacent tree to my neighbor's. He said I will be glad to take care of it for you at "no charge". Their whole work plan for my neighbor seemed very well organized and efficient. Their cleanup was so good that could not even tell the crew had been here. Will definitely be calling them for my next needed tree work.
