Desire was very professional, took the time to listen and provide recommendations for my hair. Very pleased with my haircut and style.
I had my appointment with Desiree, it was Lena in the past. I came in initially for a pedi with Megan. I’ve never been to her before. The experience was not good. The quality was low and she did not seem to know how to do nails at all. I ended up stopping the service because the conversation with her was unhelpful and I felt I was consoling her and getting a bad pedicure. At one point she became tearful and told me about negative experiences with other customers. Definitely an over share.
I spoke with the owner and told her my situation. I’m a new mom and got childcare this morning so I was spending the morning pampering myself with a pedi. I still wanted a service, and Tammie got me in for a mini facial. That service was significantly better and I appreciated the adjustment. However that service (which I was charged the full price for) was significantly more expensive (double) than the pedicure. Something about this whole thing has left a very bad experience for me. I know how hard it is to run a business, I am a business owner myself. So I want to be kind and understanding, but this felt overpriced and a waste of time. Not to mention my toenails are undone and only one foot was tended to. So I need to go somewhere else to fix that before a party I’m attending this weekend

Kari Spalding gave me the best perm ever! I’m speaking from a place of a lot of experience - I’ve probably had more than 30 perms throughout my life. She made me feel very comfortable and confident in her ability from the moment I met her. I haven’t been in the area for very long (6 weeks) so I didn’t have any recommendations of where to go, so I didn’t know what to expect. Kari was great and I would highly recommend her. She is someone who I could see as a stylist that would be someone who I would go back to again and again. If I were going to be staying in CA for longer than 6 months I would definitely go back to her. Again, I would highly recommend her - she definitely knows what she is doing and her experience and skills were awesome!!
