I took my truck to Jake’s for differential service, and a few months later, I began hearing a strange grinding noise from the rear end. When I brought it back, they identified an issue involving the pinion seal, collar, and rear differential.
I asked whether the problem could have been related to the previous work. What impressed me most was that they didn’t take the easy route and simply say, “That’s not our problem.” Instead, they took the time to discuss the possible causes, consult other repair shops for additional opinions, and work with me to find the right solution.
Most importantly, they made it right. They went above and beyond to take care of me, helped arrange a rental vehicle at a great price, and worked hard to complete the repair as quickly as possible.
That’s what superior customer service looks like. It’s not just about getting the job right the first time. It’s about how you treat your customers when something unexpected happens. Jake’s demonstrated that they stand behind their work, do the right thing, and genuinely care about their customers.
I can’t say enough good things about Jake’s, especially the ownership. They’ve earned a loyal customer for life, and I’ll gladly recommend them to anyone who needs automotive work.
This is exactly what I’ve always hoped for in a relationship with a repair shop. Go see these guys. You won’t regret it!

Jake’s Automotive is on the East side of I-15, halfway between Bangerter & 12300 South, where you’ll exit right and staying in the ‘RIGHT” lane. THE 1st light you come to is ‘State Street’. Make sure you stay in the far right lane; as you’ll be making another immediate right turn at the light, heading South, about 1/2 to 3/4 miles. Jake’s Auto will be on your left (East) side.
They ALWAYS go above and beyond, treating every customer with the utmost respect, compassion, and empathy.
When you take your car(s) to Jake’s Automotive, I guarantee you’ll be extremely impressed, not to mention elated, choosing to share your knowledge of this business with family and friends.
